# Work: integration, analytics and automation

These case studies come from founder Pranav Gore's work, before and since starting Studio Narrm. Each one describes the type of problem, the approach and the skills involved. Organisations, data and internal details are deliberately left out.

## Recent: AI-assisted automation and analytics

### Operational analytics platform for a regional programme

Pranav designed and built a cloud-hosted analytics web application that gives programme teams across a region one place to see how operations are performing.

Problem

Operational data lived in many forms, apps and spreadsheets, so answering simple questions took manual effort and reports went stale.

Approach

Consolidated sources into a clean data model, built interactive dashboards with filtering and drill-down, and deployed the app to a managed cloud platform.

Skills

- Data modelling
- Dashboard design
- Web app development
- Cloud deployment
- AI-assisted coding

Outcome

Leaders moved from waiting on manual reports to self-serve, near real-time insight.

### Production data pipelines and automation in n8n

Pranav built and runs a portfolio of more than 50 n8n workflows on self-hosted infrastructure, several of them in production on schedules and webhooks, that sync, migrate and report on an organisation's operational data.

Problem

Data was spread across a CRM, an ERP, event platforms, forms and spreadsheets, so reporting and day-to-day operations relied on people copying data between tools.

Approach

Incremental ETL from paginated REST APIs into PostgreSQL using date-windowed delta loads, staging tables, de-duplication and upserts, with batching and rate-limit handling. Bulk migrations routed records by type into the CRM. Reporting pipelines aggregate many endpoints into regional, programme and campaign reports and funnels. Failures alert to Slack, scheduled jobs flag data-quality issues, and every workflow is backed up to Git automatically.

Skills

- n8n
- ETL and ELT
- PostgreSQL
- REST API integration
- Data migration
- JavaScript
- Docker
- Workflow as code

Outcome

Reporting and record-keeping that used to be manual now run automatically, with monitoring that surfaces problems before users notice them.

### AI agents for outreach and data extraction

Pranav builds automations that call large language models (Claude) inside business workflows to research prospects, draft personalised outreach and turn unstructured data into structured records.

Problem

Finding and contacting the right partners, and making sense of free-text registration data, took hours of manual research and reading.

Approach

Webhook-triggered agents that research and draft outreach with an LLM, a scheduled email sequence with filtering, throttling and timed follow-ups, and LLM-based structured information extraction and profiling, all with a human-friendly review path.

Skills

- AI agents
- LLM integration
- Anthropic Claude API
- Prompt design
- Information extraction
- Email automation

Outcome

Outreach and data clean-up that scale with a small team, with people reviewing results instead of doing the legwork.

### Low-code operational apps

Pranav designed and deployed AppSheet applications to manage participant and volunteer workflows, backed by dashboards in Looker Studio.

Skills

- Google AppSheet
- Looker Studio
- Schema design
- Rapid prototyping

Outcome

Working tools in users' hands quickly, with data captured cleanly at the source.

## Enterprise architecture

### Customer master migration after a bank acquisition

As lead solution designer, Pranav designed how customer profiles from an acquired financial institution would move into a major bank's ecosystem.

Approach

Mapped master data across both organisations, designed the migration and streamlined how downstream banking systems consume customer data.

Skills

- Master data management
- Data migration
- Solution design
- Stakeholder management

Outcome

A consistent customer view across multiple downstream systems.

### Open Banking and microservices integration

Pranav designed integration solutions that let modern services securely reuse mainframe capability for Open Banking.

Skills

- Spring Boot
- Kafka
- MQ
- Microservices
- API design
- Security

Outcome

Legacy capability exposed at scale without rewriting core systems, while the team grew to deliver several initiatives in parallel.

### Taking over a large enterprise automation estate

Pranav led the transition of development and operations for a fleet of enterprise automation robots from a long-standing incumbent vendor to an in-house team.

Skills

- Robotic process automation
- Vendor transition
- Knowledge transfer
- Solution architecture

Outcome

No service disruption during handover, and new robots delivered within budget with no production defects.

### Telecom order management and fulfilment

Pranav designed and delivered order management and fulfilment architectures for telecom carriers on Oracle OSM, UIM and AIA.

Skills

- Oracle OSM
- Oracle UIM
- webMethods
- Process optimisation

Outcome

Automated reconciliation and outage mitigation significantly reduced support effort and operating cost, recovered lost revenue and lifted customer satisfaction.
